Scottish Ordinary Causes - Documenting over £100 million of bad commercial and consumer debt
4th March 2010
Â
At Credit Scotland held in Edinburgh today and attended by over 150 credit industry professionals, BusinessPro announced plans to publish Scottish Ordinary Causes in its fortnightly publication StubbsGazette, from April 2010.
This is the first time that information about Scottish Court Judgements with a value in excess of £5,000 will be available to Credit Managers and Finance Directors, helping them make more informed credit decisions.
Aonghus Geraghty, International Sales Director at BusinessPro commented;......“ most credit bureaus can provide you with the 30,000 judgements granted each year in the Scottish Small Claims Courts (judgements under £1,500) and the Scottish Summary Causes (judgments up to £5,000) but StubbsGazette can give you exclusive access to over 10,000 of the most significant judgments granted each year; the Ordinary Causes, which are for amounts over £5,000 and account for a total value of over £100,000,000 of bad commercial and consumer debt. Using StubbsGazette to check for judgements gives you the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’ve made the only complete check for all judgments and you’ve based your credit decision on all of the most important and relevant facts.â€
