James is the founder of BusinessPro. From simple beginnings in 1999 the company has grown to become an important element in the knowledge infrastructure of Irish business. Through working closely and effectively with Dun & Bradstreet in the early development years, an opportunity arose in 2008 to acquire the StubbsGazette brand from D&B. The acquisition was completely successfully and James is now focused on developing the Stubbs brand and expanding the company’s range of products and services at home and abroad.

John Dunne |

John is a partner in the Employment Pensions and Benefits Group at Matheson Ormsby Prentice. John advises on a wide range of employment law issues, both contentious and non-contentious. This work includes the drafting and review of employment contracts, company handbooks, and human resource policies, plaintiff and defense work in litigious matters, advising on the various aspects of commercial transactions and on new developments in case law and legislation in the area of employment and equality law.
John previously practised with the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC), and has developed extensive experience both on industrial relations issues and trade union law, and in employment and equality law matters generally. He has particular expertise regarding contentious matters heard before the Employment Appeals Tribunal, and in this regard has represented numerous clients before the Rights Commissioner Service and the Tribunal. In addition to this, John has advised on a number of large and complex commercial transactions, involving many facets of employment and equality law, with particular emphasis on commercial re-structuring and the transfer of employees.
John’s clients range from large national and multinational employers requiring advice on compliance issues, human resource strategies, and commercial re-organisation, including semi-state bodies such as An Post, BGE, and the Office of the Commission of Public Service Appointments, and private sector companies such as Irish Distillers Limited and Ulster Bank Group.
John is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, the European Employment Lawyers Association, the Employment and Equality Law Committee of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland, and the Irish Society for Labour Law. John regularly runs seminars on developments in Irish employment legislation, and is part of the team which formerly reviewed and edited the Graphite HRM Personnel Policies and Procedures publication, which provides a comprehensive guide to employment and equality legislation, and best human resource practice, in Ireland.

Donal Bolger |

Donal Bolger founded BLG Financial Consultants in 1999. He has served on the Board of Directors Glibro Design Limited (John Rocha), Texaco National Lubricants Limited, a subsidiary of Chevron Texaco and a number of other Irish and UK businesses.
Donal has been involved in the successful sale of a number of Irish businesses to publicly quoted companies, and was closely involved in the successful reorganisation and rationalisation of a number of Irish companies in recent times. Donal is a key advisor to and a non-executive Director of BusinessPro.

Greg Connell |

Greg Connell is Managing Director of the Irish Fraud Bureau and a non-executive Director of BusinessPro. He was formerly UK National Sales Director, Managing Director of Dun & Bradstreet Ireland and Hoovers UK, a leading on-line publisher of company information, which he acquired on behalf of D&B from the management team in 2004.
Greg was previously European Finance Director of D&B International and he holds a number of non-executive directorships in the public interest and pensions sector, including Registry Trust Ltd, the England & Wales statutory register of Judgments, Orders & Fines.

Paul Johnston |

Paul Joined BusinessPro in 2003 as Sales Manager with a focus on the growth of the online business. Instrumental in developing an online customer base across a spectrum of industries from major high street banks to builders’ providers, Paul now manages a sales team responsible for over 2,000 online accounts.
Appointed as a Director in 2006, Paul is now involved in overall business development, with a specific focus on expanding the Stubbs brand through the collections division StubbsCollect.

Aonghus Geraghty |

Aonghus joined the management team in January 2010. He has extensive experience of winning major software / service contracts with blue chip organisations including British Airways in the U.K., MasterCard in Europe, Visa International in the U.S. and major financial services organisations in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The initial international market focus for BusinessPro is the U.K. starting in Scotland and Aonghus is based at the company’s new offices in Glasgow.

Laura Byrne |

Laura joined BusinessPro in January 2007. In 1999 she left her native Northern Ireland for Bristol where she studied a BA in Accounting & Marketing. Following university, Laura took up the post of Business Development Manager for a motor industry leader dealing with all of the major insurance companies and manufacturers in the UK. Laura returned to Ireland in Jan 2007 to join BusinessPro. Her initial role was to develop and grow the Credit Union business in ROI and NI. More recently she has enjoyed considerable success in winning significant Blue Chip business against strong competition for new high value contracts.
