To support the rapid growth of the Company, BusinessPro require a Developer with Quark experience for a short term contract. The role will focus on developing a replacement system for generating, authenticating, validating and publishing StubbsGazette.

Our company is an industry leader in Business information in the financial sector.  We are rapidly growing and require a developer with Quark experience for a 5 week contract. The role will focus on developing a replacement system for generating, authenticating, validating and publishing the renowned Scottish Stubbs Gazette.

The Ideal candidate will:

• Have strong relational database skills including design and data modelling. Ability to work with a variety of database formats.

• C# ,  MS Access , VBA and SQL Server

• Be customer focused, working with business team members to deliver best practice solutions.

• Able to provide time and cost estimates to projects with a view to maintaining optimal application performance.

• Have Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of software development experience in the following:

• C#/VB .NET

• SQL Server/Access Databases

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of formal SDLC techniques

• Experience with import of files into Quark 6.1 and 8 using Xtags for QuarkXPress
